Always a month behind...

Alrighty folks, I tend to obviously be a little behind on the blogging thing.   So here is our October.  It was such a fun month from the pumpkin patch to making cookies, Indiana and Halloween.  I am going to post my Indiana pictures on my next post with our November.  :)  This is just a picture of my family before church one day.  Kinsley's auntie Erin gave her that outfit (can't see the skirt which is the cutest part) and Cooper is looking mighty handsome in his sweater vest.  And I of course think that man in the red looks hot.  :)
My little man.  He is growing up so fast.  He is crawling soooo fast and cruising.  He kind of skipped the baby phase and is wanting to do all the big boy things already.  He is truly the happiest baby, just wish he slept better.  You would think when a boy doesn't ever stop moving when he is awake that he would just crash when he fell asleep.  Not Cooper!

Kinsley loved the "punkins".  She couldn't believe how many there were!

One morning while Cooper was taking his morning nap, Kinsley and I decided to make Halloween cookies.  I think she did more eating then making them.  But isn't that the best part, eating it all? :)
I don't know if you can tell what they are.  There is pumpkin, a cat, and a bat.  I left out the ghost cookie cutter.  I don't need her knowing about those!

The final product.
Here is our Halloween.  My little Tinkerbell and Froggy.  This is for you Aimee!  Thank you for the costume.
Kinsley is obsessed with Tinkerbell now that she was dressed up for her at Halloween.  Everything is "Bell".  Still working on getting her to say the "Tinker" part.
My little man with his "boppy" in his mouth.  We are starting to get Kinsley not so attached to hers.  I hope he doesn't love his as much as she loves hers!
Obviously the end of the night.  The kids were spent.  But I wanted to get a family picture.  It was a really fun night of spending time with friends and watching Kinsley go "Twick or tweeting" (at least that is how Kinsley put it).  More to come later!

GO Boise State!

Kinsley is actually wearing Coopers Boise State uniform.  As you can  tell it is a little small.
Oh how do I love these kiddos!

Yes, we are a family that loves Boise State because Chris is from that beautiful potato state!  We all have the shirts to support them and love to watch them play on the T.V.  Chris has taught Kinsley to say "Go Boise State" and she walks around saying it.  I got her out of the car the other day and she told some man "Go Boise State".  It was hilarious!  Hoping to get better at updating, but as I have said before, no promises!

Kinsley's "First Haircut"

Yes, you guessed it.  Kinsley's first haircut was cutting GUM out of her hair.  She loves gum.  I don't let her chew it, but she loves watching me chew it and blow "balloons" with it.  Well, we were at my parents house and I was on the computer and she comes into the computer room with this white stuff in her hair and on her hands.  I thought it was lotion, so I tried to rub it in.  Obviously rubbing wasn't doing a bit of help.  She must have found it in the trash can where I threw my piece of gum and started playing with it.  Shows you what a great mom I am. :)
We tried to put ice on it to get it hard and then pick it out.  No Go!  Didn't work, so my mom said we were going to have to cut it out.  I was so sad because I love Kinsley's hair and I thought we were going to have to cut a chunk  out of it.  We did it while she was eating spaghetti so she would be distracted.
My mom was so good, she tried to cut her hair in a way that you couldn't tell we had to cut a chunk out.  It actually looked cute, because it looked like we cut a little bit of bangs.
THE DAMAGE!!!  Oh, Kinsley Ann we love you!

I told you all I wouldn't be very good at keeping up with this.  But I am trying.  This happened a month ago and I am just now posting it.  But I thought it was funny.  And I have had fun things going on, I am just not very good about getting pictures of them (like when Erin, Jamie, Alysson and Kate came to visit).  I don't have really any pictures of our time together.  So sad. I will try to do better.  But no promises! :)

Just Some Random Pictures

Kinsley loved swimming this year.  Last summer she would be in the water for about 10 minutes and then be done with it.  So it was so fun to go swimming with her this year.
Our little man sleeping away.  Wish he did this at night.  Still not sleeping through the night.  He is a great napper, just not great at night.  He could be a lot worse at night, but he could be a lot better too.  :)
Just hanging out at home.
This is the most recent picture of Cooper.  He has blue eyes and I hope he keeps them.  He also cut his first tooth and is about to cut the second one.  He is getting them pretty early.  Not so fun when you are still nursing.
I just had to put this one in.  Kinsley has these white stickers that are for labeling things and my mom had a ton of them left over from her work, so she gave them to Kinsley.  This is what I saw after a couple minutes of Kinsley playing with them.  You can't see but he has one on the other cheek and all over his shirt.   Poor Cooper.

Now I hate to have my second blog be about Kinsley getting in trouble, but I thought this story was too funny not to post.  Now I am sure by looking at this picture, you think how could this girl do anything wrong???  Let me tell you it definitely happens!  But let me preface with the fact that Kinsley is probably the friendliest and sweetest 2 year old that you will ever meet, but she is a sinner and this story just makes me laugh.  Well, it happened at Sunday school.   Yes, we had our first "bad report" about Kinsley from her Sunday school teacher (who happens to be our pastor's wife).  She called it an "incident" but this is what happened.  There is a toy kitchen in the room and there are plastic utensils.  Kinsley for some reason is addicted to spoons.  When we eat, she likes to at least have two of them with her at all times.  So Kinsley was playing with a spoon, when another child came over and took it from her.  Kinsley wasn't having it.  She chased him down and said "That's mine" took it back and then proceeded to poke the kid in the stomach with the spoon.  Patty (teacher) saw it and knelt down to tell them that they couldn't do that and they of course both said they were sorry and gave each other hugs.  I was dying when Chris told me.  I can see it now Kinsley stabbing this poor child in the stomach!  And then she has this smile on her face when she knows when she did something wrong, so I am sure she gave Patty that smile.  Oh, I love it.   Not that I am encouraging my daughter stabbing with spoons, but I thought that story was hilarious.  And it might only be funny to me, because it is my child but hope you enjoyed it anyhow.  I love this age.  It is an incredibly hard age but absolutely the most fun.  She makes me laugh all day long.  Anyways, I just got pictures downloaded onto the computer so on my next post I will send some recent pictures of Cooper!
This is the smile I am talking about when she does something she shouldn't.  She just finished laying on top of Cooper! :)

This is for Jamie, Sara, and Wendy...

Okay, okay, okay girls I am going to try this blogging thing!  Jamie Hill made me sit down and start this and Sara and Wendy have been telling me to start one too.   I cannot make any promises on how often I will write but I will surely try to do my best!  Jamie is making me put a couple pictures of the kids on here because she says you all would like to see them.  I just wish they were more recent pictures, I need to do some serious downloading of pictures from our camera.  So here are some pictures of my cute kiddos when Cooper was first born in April and Kinsley wasn't quite 2.  But Kinsley is now 2 and one month and Cooper is already 3 months old.  Hopefully this won't be my only post!  Love you all!
